Head and Heart

Some pieces begin with imagination — a landscape, a place, a color that won't leave. Some begin with feeling — a memory, an emotion, something that needed to be painted. Every piece carries both. That's the whole idea.

Your story. Your space. Your artwork.

Some pieces are discovered. Others are created specifically for the person and place they're meant to belong to.

Meet the Artist

Hello. I’m Krissy Smith, Head and Heart artist.

Art is a path of freedom for me. When a brush is in my hand and a canvas laid before me I can free myself from heavy emotions, process grief, find hope and feel God.

Let out dark, let in light.

Through many deaths, trials and tribulations I found intuitive painting at a very young age and over the years, it has sustained me. I hope that you find inspiration and perhaps, some resonance in my paintings.
